Community partnerships
Let's work together for maximum impact
Our community partners are the backbone of our collective impact, supporting our efforts to deliver education and outreach programs that connect people with wildlife.

Shared responsibility for protecting wildlife in our communities
Our community partners help us build a network of care that touches the lives of thousands across British Columbia. Your commitment helps us provide critical care to animals and empowers communities to connect with and protect urban wildlife. Together, we create a ripple effect of positive change.
Community partnerships are a key part of our mission. Through activities such as collaborative events and educational programs, our communities play a vital role in engaging residents in meaningful ways to help preserve local wildlife and their habitats.

Featured community partners

Vancouver Avian Research Centre (VARC) is an organization dedicated to data-driven wildlife conservation. Wildlife Rescue and VARC have been working collaboratively for years to promote avian conservation and education initiatives. VARC’s informative workshops and bird walks have been invaluable to staff, volunteers, and supporters of Wildlife Rescue.
"Our partnership with Wildlife Rescue Association has been instrumental in broadening our reach and promoting shared values of conservation and education. Together, we’ve been able to amplify the message of protecting wildlife, and we’re excited to continue this collaboration to support and protect bird populations for generations to come."
Candace Ross, Public Outreach and Education Program Coordinator
