Job opportunities

If you love wildlife and want to make a difference in their lives, consider joining a team of dedicated professionals committed to helping wildlife who have been affected by human activity. We’re united in our desire to have a positive impact on wildlife and on society through rewarding, meaningful work.

Volunteer opportunities

Wildlife Rescue is powered by volunteer support. Without the dedication, energy and skills of our volunteers, we would not be able to fulfill our vision and mission. Every year, approximately 200 volunteers dedicate over 20,000 hours to further our cause and create the organization you see today. Whether on the frontline or behind the scenes, our volunteers promote the welfare of wildlife and help give them a second chance at life.

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities to match a range of talents and interests, from administrative roles to transport and release to gardeners and handy people to education and outreach. Please note hiring occurs on a seasonal basis, and the role you are interested in might not be available for immediate start.

You can also download a Volunteer Information sheet for more details about volunteering with us.

International or practicum students: please email volunteer@wildliferescue.ca for volunteering opportunities.
