We are all blessed to live in this environmentally rich part of the world. For over 41 years the Wildlife Rescue Association of BC has been committed to saving the lives of injured wild animals and expanding public awareness for living compatibly with our nature neighbors. Heartfelt legacy gifts have ensured the professional care of over 125,000 animals.
More than 22,000 calls from the community come into Wildlife Rescue’s Support Centre every year seeking assistance for wildlife at risk. As a result, we have become an international leader as the busiest wildlife centre in Canada.
Your legacy gift enables our team to respond to the increasing demand for wildlife impacted by humans encroaching on native habitats. Your planned gift provides for healthy animals receiving a second chance at a natural life.
Does the health and wellbeing of local wildlife align with your core values? If so, then please consider leaving a wildlife legacy.
Here are some benefits of including Wildlife Rescue in your legacy planning:
By making Wildlife Rescue a part of your estate plan, you continue to help injured animals far into the future. Without a will, your property and finances are settled according to federal and provincial laws which may not coincide with your wishes and values. Everyone can leave a charitable gift from their estate, regardless of its size. Every gift helps to provide injured animals a second chance.
We recommend that you talk to your financial planner, lawyer or accountant to take you through the estate planning process to support the right decisions for you. These professionals can also talk to you about the tax benefits of these gifts that would mean so much to wildlife.
