Join the Celebration: 2025 Wildlife Calendar Photo Contest!

Are you passionate about wildlife and photography? With Wildlife Rescue’s 45th anniversary approaching, we invite you to celebrate this milestone by showcasing your talent and love for nature. Submit your best wildlife photos for a chance to be featured in the 2025 Wildlife Calendar!
Contest Details:
The contest runs from June 10th, 2024 at 12:00am PDT until July 8th 11:59pm PDT.
- Participation is free! If you generously wish to donate to support Wildlife Rescue’s wildlife rehabilitation efforts you can do so here. Participants can enter or donate from anywhere. However, contest winners are responsible for any additional costs for sending physical prizes outside of B.C.
- 14 Winners: Have your photo featured in our 2025 calendar, including the coveted cover spot! Each entry may only win one place in the calendar. All winners will be announced on Wildlife Rescue’s anniversary, July 19th, on this page and will receive a confirmation email with further steps to receive a complimentary calendar.
Photo Submission Guidelines:
By submitting a photo, you acknowledge and give permission to the Wildlife Rescue Association of BC to use the photo(s) entered in future publications, promotions and materials, including the 2025 Wildlife Calendar. You also confirm that you own the rights to the photo you are submitting.
- The photos must feature a wild animal in British Columbia (birds, mammals, amphibians, etc.) and have no humans present.
- Wildlife should not show signs of distress or be pictured being fed or handled.
- You can submit as many entries as you’d like.
- Photos should be at least 3600×2700 pixels at 300 DPI. Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, TIFF (landscape orientation preferred).
How to Enter:
- Select your best photos of BC wildlife.
- Email them with the species identification, location, your full name, and contact details to calendarcontest@wildliferescue.ca.
