Congratulations to the Best Bird in BC 2024 Winner, the Anna’s Hummingbird.

This was a contest where 32 of the coolest birds in BC have came together to decide which bird is best! Many of these birds have amazing qualities that make them magnificent. Which of those qualities make them the best? That’s was for you to decide, as they went head to head until we crowned a 2024 Champion! Our staff and volunteers have championed the contenders, letting you know why these birds are special and deserve to be crowned this year’s Best Bird in BC! After the great success of this competition in 2024, we’re looking forward to running it again in 2025!
