Thrifty Foods Fundraising Smile Card Program
Shopping at Thrifty Foods was an easy way for WRA Wildlife Rescue Association of BC to raise funds for the purchase of a walk-in cooler, which will provide on-site refrigerated storage for the many perishable items required for WRA's operation.
Our goal was to raise $2,500 by May 1, 2010. We raised $2,297! Thanks to all who participated!

A-A Wayne's Towing
The Wildlife Rescue Association is one of many B.C. charities that benefit from A-A Wayne's Towing Charity Program in Vancouver. Donate your unwanted vehicle to their Charity Car Program and receive a tax deductible receipt for a portion of the assessed value of the vehicle. Wildlife Rescue will receive the net proceeds if you choose our charity! Towing is free. Call A-A Wayne's Towing Hotline at 604.321.2277. Thanks for your help!

Visions of Our Vanishing Heritage
Interested in owning or renting a stunning print that interprets a B.C. wild space? The Visions collection features work by eighteen well-respected and environmentally conscious artists from the British Columbia visual arts community.
Artists' works in the portfolio include: Robert Bateman, Pat Martin Bates, Sam Black, Ross Bollerup, Audrey Capel Doray, Joe David, Rachel Gourley, Pnina Granirer, Lucie Lambert, Marty Levenson, Don Li-Leger, Ross Munro, Toni Onley, Ron Parker, Jan Sharkey-Thomas, Roy Henry Vickers, Jack Wise and Robbin Yager.
The original hand-pulled prints from the collection are available for rent or sale through the Get the Picture, the art rental and sales program at the Burnaby Art Gallery.
The majority of the proceeds from the rental or sale of work from the collection goes to the Wildlife Rescue Association of BC to help support our efforts to rehabilitate injured wildlife in British Columbia.

If you would like to donate your Canadian Tire coupons, please mail them or bring them in to WRA. We buy useful items for our Care Centre such as brooms, paint, garbage cans and so on.
